3. How to Use the Video Library

Learn how to access and use M2GO’s training videos to enhance team formation and support your volunteers, whether you’re leading in person or online.

The M2GO Video Library is a central part of your membership. Each video provides practical training, insight, and encouragement for ministry leaders and volunteers. Videos can be watched individually for personal development or shown during group sessions as part of a Training Kit experience.

This article explains how to access, view, and use videos effectively in your ministry setting.

Step-by-Step: How to Access the Video Library

  1. Log in to your M2GO account
Visit marathonyouthministry.com/m2go/ and sign in using your email and password.

  2. Navigate to the Video Library
From your M2GO dashboard, click “Video Library” or “Training Videos” in the navigation menu.

  3. Browse Available Topics
The video library is organized by theme, such as:

    • Leadership and Team Development

    • Spiritual Growth and Formation

    • Communication and Collaboration

    • Volunteer Recruitment and Retention

    • Seasonal Reflections (Advent, Lent, Easter, etc.)

  4. Watch a Video
Click on a video title to open it in the player window. You can:

    • Stream the video directly on your dashboard.

    • Adjust playback speed or enable captions.

    • Expand to full-screen mode for group viewing.

  5. Save or Bookmark Favorites
Some members prefer to track key videos by adding them to a favorites list or noting them in a shared folder with their team.

Using Videos in Team Settings

M2GO videos are flexible tools for formation and discussion. You can:

  • Show them during volunteer meetings as an introduction or reflection.

  • Pair them with a Training Kit for a full 60-minute team session.

  • Assign them as pre-work for staff or small group discussions.

  • Share the takeaways during parish leader gatherings or retreats.

If you’re a Premium or Pro member, videos may also be integrated into coaching or cohort sessions for deeper reflection.

Suggested Starting Point

For new users, we recommend beginning with videos that introduce the core leadership themes of M2GO:

  • Building a Healthy Team

  • Preparing for the Future

  • Creative Catechesis Workshop

  • Strategies for Creating a Supportive Environment

These sessions provide a strong foundation for using M2GO resources year-round.

Helpful Tip

If you’re unsure which video fits your goal, open Ministry Coach from your dashboard and type a prompt like:

“Which M2GO video is best for training new volunteers?”
or
“Recommend a video for a team meeting on collaboration.”

Ministry Coach will recommend videos or kits tailored to your needs.
