MYM’s three-pillar approach—Coaching, Cohorts, and Content—forms a holistic pathway to leadership health and ministry impact.

Marathon Youth Ministry’s framework is built on three interconnected pillars—Coaching, Cohorts, and Content (M2GO). Each plays a unique role in helping ministry leaders grow, but they are most powerful when used together.


1. Coaching — Personal Formation for the Leader

Coaching helps you clarify your goals, strengthen your mindset, and grow in confidence as a leader.

You’ll gain practical strategies for managing time, resolving conflict, and leading from your strengths.

2. Cohorts — Shared Learning in Community

Cohorts bring leaders together for shared discovery and encouragement.

Each cohort explores a specific leadership focus (like Leading Change or Faith in Action), using guided discussions, exercises, and accountability structures.

  • Learn from experienced facilitators and guest speakers

  • Build a support network that extends beyond the program


3. Content (M2GO) — Practical Tools for Team Formation

M2GO gives you access to ready-to-use training kits, videos, and handouts that you can implement immediately.

Each resource is designed for real ministry settings and can be adapted for teams, volunteers, or parish staff.
