MYM SPRINT: Leading Change Cohort

In partnership with the TENX10 Initiative, MYM offers a 6-week cohort experience for parish leaders called the MYM SPRINT: Leading Change. During this cohort, MYM introduces participants to discipleship emphases Leading Change, where participants will learn to:

  • Develop and craft a compelling vision statement.
  • Identify and collaborate with parish influencers and networkers.
  • Practice essential communication skills, like pitching your vision.
  • Build relationships within the cohort for mutual encouragement and support.

The next cohort will begin September 26, 2024 with the following schedule:

SESSION 1: September 26, 2024 (location: Baltimore, MD)

SESSION 2: October 1, 2024 (location: virtual)

SESSION 3: October 15, 2024 (location: virtual) 

SESSION 4: November 5, 2024 (location: virtual)

The cost is $125 per participant (does not include travel).

It’s a 6-week intensive program for parish leaders, designed in partnership with the TENX10 Initiative. The cohort helps participants develop leadership skills, craft a compelling vision, and communicate that vision effectively.

The cohort begins on September 26, 2024. The schedule is as follows:

  • Session 1: September 26, 2024 (In-person in Baltimore, MD)
  • Session 2: October 1, 2024 (Virtual)
  • Session 3: October 15, 2024 (Virtual)
  • Session 4: November 5, 2024 (Virtual)

How much does it cost, and what does the fee include?

The cost is $125 per participant, which includes all materials and coaching sessions. Travel expenses for the in-person session are not covered.

What is the format of the cohort?

The cohort includes:

  • In-Person Kickoff: A full-day session in Baltimore, MD
  • Virtual Sessions: Three follow-up sessions online
  • Coaching: Two personalized coaching sessions

What if I miss a session?

It’s best to attend all sessions. If you can’t make one, please reach out to the facilitator to explore alternatives.

What can I expect from the in-person session?

The in-person session runs from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the O'Dwyer Retreat House in Sparks, Maryland. During our time together, we'll examine the dynamics of change and how they apply to your ministry.
